What to Expect

 

 

At the beginning of every therapy session, there is time to allow anything to be spoken about and from this conversation, something might seem important to explore further, or a theme might emerge that links to some past conversation or experience. I will always be respectful and careful in suggesting a direction as it is so important that you know that you are the creator of your own life and healing. My role is to guide you  through, what is a courageous and positive process. 

All therapy sessions are held at a venue away from life's hub bub, nestled in the trees and fields. The location is super peaceful and ideal as a place to allow thoughts and feelings that might otherwise be difficult to process, to come to the surface. There will only be the sound of nature around you or the crackle of the wood burner. Being in a peaceful space helps to allow space and make time to heal.

Depending on the weather and what you prefer, we can work inside the cabin or outside, where I might suggest using some of the natural materials to represent experiences, thoughts or feelings.

There is no perfect number of sessions for therapy. You are the best judge of what you need or wish for yourself. We will take each day as it arrives and talk together about what is most helpful for you.

We can discuss cost when we initially speak to each other prior to your first reduced cost, introductory session.
